Charity Day 10-2-09
H. J. High personnel teamed up with Center for Independent Living to build a 27' ramp at the home of one of their clients. The Center for Independent Living is a private, non-residential, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities achieve their self-determined goals for independent living. H. J. High Construction Company under the direction of CIL donated the time, labor and materials to construct the ramp. Functioning electric wheelchairs and wheelchair ramps are essential to help preserve the independence and dignity of people with disabilities.
